How much does a bespoke website cost?

There is no single fixed price for a bespoke website because the scope can vary considerably, but Caged Fish CMS brochure sites currently start in the region of £1,250.

What does a starting price mean?

It is a baseline for a relatively straightforward project, not a promise that every site will cost the same. Design requirements, content, integrations, migration and functionality all affect the final quote.

Why quote individually?

A tailored website should be scoped around what the business actually needs rather than forcing every client into the same package.

What should a quote make clear?

It should define the agreed scope, inclusions, assumptions, payment terms and anything that would be treated as additional work.

What can move a brochure website above the starting price?

More complex page layouts, larger content sets, custom forms, directories, membership features, integrations, multilingual content, migration work and bespoke development can all increase the amount of work required. A project can still be visually simple while having significant technical complexity behind it.

Does the price include everything forever?

No. The quotation should make clear what is included in the project itself and what would sit outside it, such as ongoing support, future development, third-party licence renewals or a continuing SEO campaign. Keeping those boundaries clear avoids surprises later.

Can a website be delivered in phases?

Yes, where that makes commercial sense. We can prioritise the core launch requirements first and plan optional enhancements as later phases rather than forcing every possible feature into version one.
