Posted in Number 1 in Google

GoogleYou’ve spent hundreds, if not thousands of pounds getting your site onto the first page of Google and hitting that elusive number 1 spot and then the unthinkable happens, Google have a major problem. For about an hour on Saturday morning, every Google search – for absolutely anything – received the message “this site may harm your computer.” Google said it traced the mistake to simple human error. If Google ‘goes down’ or has interrupted service, how will it affect your business? Does your site list in other search engines, Yahoo, MSN etc? Here at Caged Fish we pride ourselves in ‘covering the bases’ and advising on internet marketing, we always point out that the Google situation is precarious if you do not have other means of driving visitors to your site.
