One of the Caged Fish web design team, Ben, has today jetted off to the land of the rising sun, Japan. He has been taking Japanese lessons for the last 2 years in an attempt to understand the language and culture. The rest of the team are sure he’s going to get culture shock when he lands in Tokyo alone, but we all wish him a fantastic adventure and hope for his safe return. We’ve joked about how much his bail might be in Yen, but we’re sure he’ll have a fabulous time and come back with tales to tell.
Update 1:
We’ve heard, via Twitter, that Ben’s arrived safe in Tokyo and managed to get himself to his first hotel stop-off. He posted a pic of the ‘green carriage narita express’, which is in the gallery below.
Update 2:
Two weeks in and it sounds like Ben’s trip is going well, he’s now in Kyoto, though he says his brand new suitcase’s handle has broken.

Are you looking to upgrade to the newest version of actinic, Actinic v10?

Caged Fish will take your existing Actinic Store and upgrade it to the current version, Actinic version 10 implementing all of the new features such as Realtime Stock, Recently Viewed Items, The Streamlined Checkout and Customer Feedback.
Also worth noting is the speed of Actinic is quicker. On a Test Site (80Mb) approx 300 products, Caged Fish found that Actinic 10 was 1/3rd faster to do a full refresh than Actinic 9. (10 minutes as opposed to 15 minutes). Also the time to Snapshot was quicker.
